Albert V. Burdick Albert was born April 1, 1928 in Sacramento, CA. After graduating from high school, Al served a two-year enlistment in the U. S. Navy at the end of WWII. He married Dorothy M. Cline of San Jose, CA on June 5, 1948.  They have six children Jim, Bob, Roger, Dave, Sandra, and Patti. He worked at the Sacramento Army Depot for 34 years, retiring as a Supervisory Electronic Engineer in 1983.

Brother Burdick was ordained a Priest in 1948, an Elder in 1963, and a High Priest in 1969. In the Reorganization he served as District President of the Sacramento-Modesto Metropolitan District and Presiding Elder of the Sacramento Branch. In the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he served on the Council of High Priests that provided interim leadership to the Church, on the Standing High Council, and as a Counselor to the President of the High Priest Quorum. He currently serves as Counselor to the Presiding Bishop, providing the Bishopric with a daytime ministerial support in the Church Headquarters Offices. His father was a self sustaining Bishop in the Reorganization serving for many years as Bishop of the Northern California District, which extended from Bakersfield to the Northern Border of California
