The Final Judgment

Apostle John in Rev. 20:12 says the dead were judged out of the things written in the books (scriptures) according to their works. Jesus said if we even give a cup of water in His name we shall not loose our reward. It is not only what we profess with our mouth but what we do that qualifies us to receive our reward. Man's justice is not better than God's justice, for a common thief should not receive the same punishment as that of a murderer. The same is true of a good man or woman and a Holy man or woman, but all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ. (II Cor 5:10 KJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

(Mat 16:27 KJV) For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

God says in Ecc 12:14 "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. Those who have totally rejected God and His Christ are sons of perdition who, along with death and Hell, shall be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

(Rev 20:10-15 KJV) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
